About Us
As per the annual report titled ‘Road Accidents in India: 2022’ by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), around 168,491 people lost their lives in road accidents in 2022 in India.
Disregard for traffic rules, over speeding and drunk driving remain the main causes of road accidents. Utkarsh Road Safety Movement conducts road safety awareness campaigns to educate about traffic rules, and the importance about following safety rules on the road.
- Awareness campaigns for pedestrians, riders and drivers

Why Road Safety Awareness Movement?
Around two lakh people die in road accidents every year in India. Add to it, the number of fatal injuries, and you will know roads are turning into killers. Why does this happen? Negligence! If people will follow traffic rules and drive and ride safely, we can ensure zero road accidents. Utkarsh Road Safety Awareness encourages people, especially young people, to ensure road safety, to protect their lives as well as of others.
