Adv. Dagadu Londhe

President

Utkarsh came into existence from a small thought that Dagadu Londhe had as a young man organizing Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The thought was to extend a helping hand to humans and animals in need. The dream he saw then is now a reality, with Utkarsh of today, with branches in five states, and more than 2000 beneficiaries every month.

Adv. Dagadu Londhe founded Utkarsh with his vision of “People for a Better World,” and since 2010, Utkarsh Global Foundation has made its presence felt in various sectors.

Adv. Londhe, M. Com., LLB, also has over 15 years of experience in the corporate sector, heading different verticals such as legal and compliance, liaison, and handling legal matters of corporate companies. He runs a law firm, ‘Dagadu Londhe and Associates,’ in Mumbai.

As the President of Utkarsh Global Foundation, Adv. Londhe is the vision and brain behind the various campaigns of Utkarsh movements, namely, Environmental Protection, Animal Welfare, Social Justice and Empowerment, Women’s Education and Empowerment, Healthcare, and Disaster Preparedness.

Aatish Waghmare

Vice President

A graduate in arts from Mumbai University, Aatish Waghmare has been with Utkarsh since its inception. He is one of the founding members of the organisation. Currently, he runs a business in packaging but also works with Utkarsh as the Chief Administrative Officer. Aatish is in charge of the Social Justice and Empowerment Movement of the Utkarsh Global Foundation.

Pravin Jadhav

Secretary

A founding member of the Utkarsh Global Foundation, Pravin Jadhav also handles multiple responsibilities. While he supervises the initiatives and daily functioning of Animal Welfare, Healthcare, and Disaster Preparedness Movements, Pravin is also the Chief Public Relations Officer of Utkarsh, coordinating with government and semi-government offices for Utkarsh project implementation. He is a graduate in commerce and runs a renowned production house in Mumbai.

Satish Gaikwad

Treasurer

As the treasurer of Utkarsh Global Foundation, Satish Gaikwad has to manage funding systems and also collaborate with different departments of Utkarsh. He is also the Chief Auditor of the Utkarsh Global Foundation. Satish also manages the Healthcare Movement of Utkarsh, collaborates with the different branches of Utkarsh Animal Hospitals in Maharashtra, and ensures the smooth implementation of animal welfare initiatives. A graduate in commerce from Mumbai University, Satish has taken his love for animals to another level with a pet grooming firm.

Bhushan Kamble

Joint Secretary

He holds an MBA in Human Resources and has expertise in HR-related matters. He also runs an HR consultancy firm in Mumbai. He translates his people skills and people management knowledge into the various initiatives of Utkarsh. He also supervises the Social Justice and Empowerment Movement of Utkarsh, where he dedicates his knowledge and experience to creating a better society for socially disadvantaged communities.

Vinod Javir

Member

He is in charge of the Disaster Preparedness Movement of Utkarsh. He has travelled to Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and other states and distributed relief to affected people. Vinod is a commerce graduate and has set up a transportation company in Mumbai.

Supriya Edke

Member

Activism that combines vision and action is what Supriya Edke abides by and brings to the fore as a member of the Utkarsh Global Foundation. After completing an M.SC. in Environmental Science, Supriya appeared for and passed the SET exam. She worked as a professor teaching environmental science at a private college for about 8 years. Currently, her leadership skills and her vision for women’s causes are evident in her role as the CEO of the Women’s Education and Empowerment Movement of Utkarsh.
